Leeds UFCA U11 - Forza

A fantastic performance from the boys today as we came away with a 7–0 win against a very strong Forza side.

From the first whistle, we set out with a clear plan to press high, be aggressive and make it difficult for Forza to play out. The boys executed that brilliantly. Our intensity without the ball was excellent, and we repeatedly won possession in dangerous areas because of the pressure we applied.

Once we had the ball, we were positive and purposeful. We moved it quickly, created plenty of opportunities and showed real quality in the final third. The goals were a reward for the way we controlled the game and maintained our intensity.

What pleased me most was that, despite the scoreline, we never took our foot off the gas. We continued to press, defend from the front and play with the same energy and discipline throughout the game.

Forza are a strong side, so to win 7–0 is a fantastic result, but the performance was what impressed me most. The boys showed exactly the intensity, togetherness and bravery that we want to see from them.
