U12 Blacks 26/27 - Soccer Hub

Good win for the boys on Saturday. I felt we rode our luck at times in the first half and Soccer Hub hit the post a couple of times. We weren’t using the extreme width of the pitch enough early on and the match was a little scrappy, with not a lot of quality from either side. However, once we got a stranglehold in midfield, and started moving the ball around quicker, we started creating chances. Good 1st goal from set piece. Great delivery, excellent header. We were very good in the third quarter, created good opportunities, and whilst only taking one (an excellent finish by the way), we could have scored more, and we will need to take our chances in the league games to come. I thought we were very good defensively, and the boys showed great desire late on not to concede.

We now move on to our league games this Saturday, and play the same opposition at Home. It will be another tough match. However, the boys are ready and good to go, and I’m looking forward as to what they can achieve this year.
