Match Report: Sallins vs Naas Prem u12

Sallins vs Naas Prem u12 was difficult game played under extreme heat conditions and no subs available for the away side.

Sallins took the lead early on and quickly doubled their lead. They were fortunate to be 3 up before the interval.

Naas second half never gave up despite alot of the regular team missing. Rosie and Evie were busy in the wings attacking and defending all afternoon. Kate and Sara played really well against a packed Sallins midfield,they never backed down from a challenge all evening. Aoife started up front for first time with the prem girls and was excellent in terms of leading the line and trying to get onto any through balls. She was very unlucky not to score in the game.

Aine Mcnally started her first game and was exceptional at left side of defence. Laurel and Alex both had great games in defence managing the Sallins attack all second half while pushing forward to get something from the game. Lauren was called into action and made some great saves.

Excellent work from all the girls again to play through such a difficult game under difficult conditions and produce a really good performance,real test of character shown,

We will get them again.
