U9 Azzuri Won 4-3 against Ammers Red

The first two halves we controlled the game, in terms of winning the ball high and showed good bravery on the ball and desire to recover and defend when needed. Topped off with some brilliant individual moments and goals. However, our decision making and recognising when to (find the free player) needs to be better at times when finishing the attack so we can be more ruthless and score more goals.

In the last third Ammers resulted in punting it long every time, which provided a different challenge for us at first we struggled to deal with it as they ended up getting on the end of the ball or the ball would bounce back to them from close range to score. Momentum was with them, but every player showed great desire to defend the goal and eventually we ended up showing great resilience to dig deep to get the win.
