U9 Calcio Talent and Select - GT Sports

U9 Rosso Won 5-3 against GT Sports.

For comparison when we previously played them we lost 4-2. So it shows some of the progress this team has made. With the support of our new additions to the squad too, who have helped strengthen our team play and pressing structure and bring extra individual qualities to the team.

Over the recent weeks, there has been great progress made from individuals and our team play and pressing is looking better and better each week. We also scored some great team goals from counter attacks today as well 🙌

Which is a key focus I mentioned to the team before the game, reminding the lads what we worked on in training and how we can apply that into the game. The lads executed these counter attacks brilliantly, looking to constantly look to play forwards or make forward runs to support teammates when we regained the ball; we even managed to score a couple of goals from this.

MOTM - Ronan. For his quick decision making on the ball, creating loads of chances for the team with his forward passes and scoring 2 well taken goals and 1 assist.
