An outstanding performance to start the season!

UFCA came flying out of the blocks and opened the scoring from a brilliantly worked set piece. Oskar delivered a great ball into the box, and Aidan rose highest to power home a header and make it 1–0.

UFCA quickly doubled their advantage when Koree reacted quickest after the goalkeeper spilled the ball, calmly finishing from close range to make it 2–0.

UFCA continued to dominate and made it 3–0 after some excellent work down the right-hand side from Loren and Oskar, with Oskar applying a tidy finish.

Oskar was on the scoresheet again just minutes later, producing another neat finish to make it 4–0 after 20 minutes.

Barnsley pulled a goal back, but UFCA responded immediately, going straight up the other end and scoring a superb team goal. Abdul was on hand to finish it off and restore the four-goal advantage.

HALF-TIME: UFCA 5–1 Barnsley

The second half saw Barnsley come out with plenty of energy, flying into tackles and looking to make a response.

UFCA, however, kept their composure and continued to dominate possession.

Koree added his second of the game to make it 6–1, following some fantastic creativity around the box. A clever give-and-go with Abdul opened the space, and Koree coolly slotted the ball home.

Barnsley managed to score with the final kick of the game, but it was UFCA who deservedly took all the plaudits after an excellent display.
