A season ticket gives the buyer access to a selected range of events within a specific period. You first create a season ticket type where you define price, validity period, and maximum number of uses. Customers can then purchase season tickets under this type.
Each season ticket type can be linked to multiple events, and you can create different types for different customer groups – such as family passes, junior passes, or VIP season tickets.
How season tickets work in the system
When a customer purchases a season ticket, the system automatically generates a unique QR code. At each event, you scan the guest's QR code, and the system automatically registers the usage. The season ticket can be used until either the validity period expires or the maximum number of uses is reached.
The system keeps track of how many times each season ticket has been used and at which events. You can view an overview of active season tickets and their usage history at any time.
How to do it
- Go to the tickets section and select "Season tickets"
- Create a new season ticket type with name, description, and price
- Set validity period (from-date and to-date) and maximum number of uses
- Select which events the season ticket should grant access to
- Activate the season ticket type to make it visible to customers
- Customers can now purchase season tickets and automatically receive QR code via email
- Scan the QR code at each event to register usage
