U13s Calcio Talent & Select - Yorkshire Ammers Fc

A difficult first 20mins, where we struggled to get to grips of the size of the pitch & the individual strengths of the opponents.

We changed a few things after the first quarter, and I felt like from then on, we were much more competitive & defended as a team a lot better.

Oli J scored an excellent solo goal, after he beat 3 players before smashing the ball into the bottom corner.

Oli K scored with a really clever run in behind from midfield, which Jakob assisted, with a good pass in behind.

Jared then scored in the final few minutes, from a cross from Brendan, Jared showed great commitment to get on the end of the cross to finish.

The reaction after a difficult first 20mins was excellent & the players should take that fighting spirit into future games.

Special mention to Brody who stepped in as a GK for us & James who played in his first trial game.

Also, just want to highlight Eddie & Louie who both played really well, from the U12’s.

Final note, congrats 🙌 to Coby who has had a successful trial & signed with the squad.
