Girls U10's Lionesses - Upper Lighthorne U9s

A unfortunate defeat for the girls today. They started on the upper hand however tired legs and a strong opposition took the lead from us.

First Half:

The girls started strong, some excellent defending and forward play.

A pass from Rosie to Pheobe saw us on the front foot

We had many shots on goal just struggling to convert

Second half:

A change of goalie and some subs to start the next half

We started well pressing and keeping their players from going on runs.

Unfortunately the opposition managed to score a couple goals past us

Our girls didn't give up !

A through ball on the counter attacks from Bea to Phoebe saw us convert another goal.

Well done to all the girls !
