Girls U11's Lionessess - Leafield Athletic

A home game vs a strong Leafield Athletic team.

The game ended in an 8-1 loss for the girls. However, it was not a true reflection of the game as it was competitive and evenly matched for the majority of the match but Leafield were clinical in the right areas.

Leafield went 2-0 up in the early part of the game. We hit back with a superb goal by Mila, a curling shot into the top right corner. Leafield added a 3rd to make it 3-1 at the break.

The girls competed well and worked tirelessly all over the pitch. We had good moments in the game, notably Mila’s absolute beauty but it wasn’t to be for us today.
