Boys U16 (2010) Major - Kilcock Celtic
Nice Sunny morning in Kilcock, the lads finally get to play their 3rd game with roughly 5 cancelled matches so far this season and the lads started like they hadn’t played for a long time . Very sluggish opening for both sides but Naas forward line looked sharper, only getting suspiciously called offside a bunch of times , when I finally gave up complaining. The breakthrough happened well into the half when Xabi Gray dinked over the kilcock backline with Oisin Kemple running through to finish brilliantly. Well deserved as Oisin was by far the most lively of a flat Naas first half .
2nd half we were a different side , with higher intensity from Naas but a very flat footed Kilcock, we dominated the ball .
Great work from Alex Nelson turning sharply in the box and hammering home top corner a bullet of a goal 2-0.
Then came Oisin Kemple’s 2nd goal running through the defence and scoring a cracking goal , really great display from him 3-0
Then Conor McNally taking his chance up front worked really hard to win the ball for the team and created some great chances , which paid off with a great low finish in the bottom corner 4-0
The lads tails were up and everyone wanted a piece of the action and many came close but it was Kuba Zawierucha saving the best for last top corner from outside the box 5-0
Great clean sheet Morgan Begley
Well deserved win from the lads but need to get more consistent and get a run of wins going .
