U11 Orange - Atherstone Rangers

Leamington Brakes found it tough going in our penultimate game of the season against Atherstone.

Atherstone started strongly winning the midfield battle and passing through the lines, they were soon in the lead. Atherstone added 2 more to go into halftime 3-0 up, a great tackle from Finlay and good goalkeeping from Oscar prevented further goals

The Brakes were much improved in the 2nd half, Bledi made some great interceptions and runs to relieve pressure. Despite some good goalkeeping from Teddy, Atherstone scored again from a corner. The lads stuck at it though and Camello scored a good goal running through and finishing with composure.

Full time 4-1, but the lads battled well in the 2nd half.

Special mentions:

Bledi defended well and showed skill bringing the ball up the pitch.

Camello scored a lovely goal and kept going with runs in behind the Atherstone defence.
