Boys U15's Spitfires - Southam United

U15 Spitfires got the better of Southam United today in the local derby, taking the bragging rights to school tomorrow with a 4-1 away victory.

The boys struggled to get to grips with the heavy bobbly pitch at first and went 1-0 down after the referee bizarrely awarded the hosts a penalty after a good save from Jensen in the Stockton goal! 🤷🏻‍♂️

The boys dug in though and eventually managed to get on top to take the points. The equaliser came from Leyton, followed by another hat-trick from Noah to seal the hard-fought, if unglamorous and scrappy victory.

The Southam keeper made several smart saves to keep the score respectable but Stockton were ultimately too strong and the 3 points take them back to the top of the league.
