Girls U11 (2014) - Monasterevin

Having already played Monasterevin this season Naas went into this match as red hot favourites despite travelling with just the seven players.
The tone was set for the evening when in the opening minutes Abbygail O Connor won the ball at wing back, raced up the line beating three players and slammed the ball in the net.
In defence Laurel White had her usual game, tackled like a warrior and went on the attack when the chance arose. In the middle Kayley Farrell used her magic to skip by players and get a number of goals.
Beside her in the middle,Aoibhin Mc Nally was always in space and made great use of the ball when in posession.Upfront,Emily Sheridan never shied away from the tough tackles and always created room to have a shot.
Minding the net was Lauren O Reilly, always dependable when called upon and kept her 5th clean sheet in 6 games.Togging out to help the team,Hazel Barnes had a great game, always got her foot in to win the ball and picked the right pass every time.
Despite the heat and no subs the girls put in a great team effort from start to finish so well done to all.
