Match LB Orange U11 v Chaplsfield Colts

Wow.....What an incredible performance by the LB Orange U11 team.💪⚽️🥅 This match marked their biggest win ever and showcased a lot of positives.

Facing the Chapelsfield Colts, the game kicked off at 11:00 AM. at Newbold Comyn with Leamington Brakes in full throttle. Dominating the 50/50 battles in midfield, Oscar made an impressive break from the edge, manoeuvred past a couple of players, and launched a stunning shot into the top of the net. 1-0 to the Brakes.

As the first half progressed, LB Orange continued to control the midfield. Ten minutes before halftime, Sam's clearance, or arguably a shot, caught the keeper off guard and nestled into the bottom corner, increasing the lead. The pressure was relentless, with Leamington pinning the Colts in their defensive third, Fin G delivering corners that were cleared from the line on three occasions. The half ended on a positive note for Leamington.

At halftime, the team engaged in discussion, pinpointing the Colts' weaknesses. The coaches emphasised maintaining the intensity and achieving a clean sheet. The team proved their mettle with this clear mission.

Though the Colts returned from halftime with vigour, attempting a few shots, Freddie stood out with a remarkable save to his right, denying them any breakthrough. Leamington’s determination shone through as Camello displayed his brilliance, outmanoeuvring a defender and curling a mesmerising shot into the top corner. And he wasn’t finished there—Camello added the fourth goal with another superb finish.

The team’s perseverance paid off as they orchestrated an overload attack on the right, with Teddy passing to Fin P, who struck a powerful shot from a tight angle to seal the victory. What a finish.

The final score: Leamington Brakes 5, Chapelsfield Colts 0. A brilliant performance by the boys.
