Girls U11's Lionessess - Khalsa U11 Lionesses

U11 girls 3-2 away defeat to Khalsa. A scrappy game where the Stockton girls just couldn’t get out of 1st gear. We took the lead through Phoebe who was in right place to finish after a defensive mix up, we held that lead until half time but just after the break Khalsa drew themselves level and added 2 more to take control of game. Their 3rd goal was flagged offside but the referee ignored it and gave the goal which was a bit annoying.

We got back into the game when new girl Stacie scored from the penalty spot making it 3-2, her 2nd goal in two games. This sparked the girls into life and with the last kick of the game Mimi almost made it level but shot just wide. Some good points to take onto next week.
