Girls U12 Prem (2013) - Kilcock


Match Report: Kilcock vs Naas u12 girls. Naas hung on to victory and got back to winning ways.
1st Half - Naas started very brightly with a strong attacking options with Rosie on the right,Amelia on the left and Lauren up front. Amelia with a good run down the left set Lauren up for an excellent finish. 1-0 Naas.
Naas were solid at the back with Sara deputising brillant in goals for Lauren. Grace, Faye and Alex all had a very morning against a game Kilcock team. It was Katie and Kate in midfield who combined to set up Lauren for another excellent finish. 2-0 Naas. The first half ended with Kilcock coming on strong, Katie was excellent in midfield covering back for her teammates on more then a few ocassions.
2nd Half - Kilcock start stronger and were growing in confidence. They are definitely an improved side. With an excellent shot Amelia had to parry the shot back to Kilcock player for them to slot home. Amelia made some more good saves in the second half.
Kilcock tried in search of an equaliser but Naas finished stronger with a chance through on goal for Evie. Lauren was unlucky not to get a hatrick.
Rosie had an excellent game on the right wing and brought the ball away from Naas goal to see out the game.
Naas hung on to a vital win and with Newbridge loosing to Sallins that means they all in the driving to secure 2nd place. Naas have Sallins next up in the cup.
Good result from the girls in terms bouncing back from a disappointing result last weekend.
