U16 UFCA 25/26 - Harrogate Town

The boys showed excellent attitude and discipline to compete against, and ultimately defeat, a very strong Harrogate Town side.
The overall football wasn’t at its best, particularly given the challenges of a small pitch where much of the game was decided through set-pieces, throw-ins, and dealing with long balls. However, the lads adapted brilliantly, winning the majority of duels, which proved to be the key factor today.
At times, football requires dealing with the “ugly side” of the game, and the team demonstrated their ability to do just that—showing adaptability and resilience in difficult circumstances. Even after conceding with five minutes to go, the boys managed the game extremely well to see it out.
It was also pleasing to see that, for the second week running, we started the first half much better—something we must continue to build on.
Well done to everyone!
