U14 Blacks 26/27 - Evo Sheffield

UFCA u14 blacks 4-4 Evo Sheffield

A really positive performance started of brilliantly with UFCA dominating possession and creating some great opening which were well saved by the Evo goalkeeper. UFCA pressed brilliantly a made the game very difficult for Evo to string passes together. Eventually the pressure payed off and Ibbo finished brilliant from a great pass from Xander.

However Evo managed to reply not to long after to take the game to 1-1 going into the second quarter. UFCA didn’t let this derail them and continued in the same manner from the first quarter. A fantastic finish by Finn saw UfCA take the lead once again.

into the second half against the run of play Evo scored a second with some great work from their striker who was a tough match for the UFCA backline.

Into the last quarter with the score still 2-2 a corner from Ibbo was put into the back of the net by Travs and UFCA had the lead with 17 minutes left to play.

Evo continued to try get themselves back level in the game and they managed to find an equalizer and take the lead shortly after. UFCA didn’t let this affect them and continued to press forward looking for an equalizer. This came in the last seconds of the game after a great pass from max found Xander who rounded the Evo goalkeeper expertly and got the team back level.

Overall a really impressive performance and extremely unlucky not to get 3 points from it.
