Vs Leixlip. Pre season away
With only 9 members of the squad available, we brought it 4 2009 players. Thanks to those lads for giving up their Sunday morning. Leixlip are a very strong DDSL Major team and they played to the that level.
Despite the scoreline, there was not that big a gulf in class. Leixlip scored from 4 corners, plenty for us to work on there.
Jack O Brien scored both goals for Naas. Special mention to Evan Malone, who covered every blade of grass and our stand in GK Alex, who must have made about 10 unbelievable saves.
Plenty of learnings and good for the lads...
