U15 Calcio Select - South Kirkby Colliery U15
U15 won 13-0. Against a very weak South Kirkby side. This game is a great confidence booster for the lads going into the league campaign next week. And these types of games should be a reminder of how good this team can be and the potential they have to perform to these levels in a consistent basis. As we look to build on this performance going into the league campaign.
The lads set a professional standard today, even when winning comfortably. They took on board things I wanted to see in & out of possession too, which worked well. However, we have a few things we could have done better in the game, like have more patience and having more control when in possession. Not always forcing the forwards pass, but instead look to keep & sustain possession more. And making sure when we are defending maintain good distances between our midfield & defensive unit too.
Overall, it was a fantastic and well rounded professional team performance. With some brilliant attacking play & defensive moments too. It was great to see us scoring loads of goals but getting the clean sheet felt really important too. Well done all đź‘Ź
