EFA v FC Utd

Both teams played on a 1-2-3-1 formation.

Our boys didn't perform on the same level as the previous 2 matches.
It is not the end of the World. Nevertheless, coincidence or not, overall, the boys lacked focus and commitment during the training session before this match. Matches are a reflection of the practice in training.
The team has some interesting moments and several good chances to score, however, the majority of them came from individual plays instead collective ones. We can't have a player trying to solve all the problems by himself, is not 1v7 is 7v7.
To Win matches and perform well, each individual should play their full individual set skills toward the team. Moreover, moaning to each other, won't bring benefits to anyone, exactly the opposite. When a player make a mistake no matter what type of mistake it was, teammates should praise for successful upcoming actions/decisions, when the boys moan, the one who is shout, most probably will avoid to take initiative in a play as that particular player will lose confidence.
This upcoming week, there is no match, therefore, Saturday we will have training session.

It is important, that parents are also pro-active on marking their child attendance in Sportmember for training and matches.
As previously mentioned to all parents.

From now on, the players who will be invited to matches will be the ones who commit more in training, the ones I can see are improving and putting an effort, and have their parents behind to support them with the logistics inherent to their attendance.
The aim, is to get all players feeling that if they perform, behave, commit, help the others, stay focus when they need to stay focus to learn and grow, they will be for sure rewarded with play time.

Unfortunately, the ones lacking those values and attributes, won't be invited to matches as often as they would wish.
I cannot give the cake to a player just because the players wants cake. As I mentioned, it is not fair for the ones who are determined on improving themselves and help the team achieving positive things being penalised by seeing their play time reduced, because everyone needs to play, no matter if they come to training or not, no matter if they do well or less well in training.

thank you for your support, and understanding.

Ps. the addiction of the Sunday session after half-term will enhance your child's development. I don't have any doubts, that with the right commitment, attitude, all players will boost their football skills and understanding of the game.
