Match Report: U10 Naas Orange vs Suncroft

An excellent back and forward competitive game from the orange team who were unlucky not to come away with the win.

1st Half - Naas were switch on from the beginning and went ahead early with some good play between Daragh and Leon causing havoc in Suncroft box to result in an own goal from the away team 1-0 Naas. Great long ball from Cian in defence sent Daragh through on goal who laid the ball off for Leon to finish. 2-0.

Naas controlled the game in first quarter with Senan being the engine in team protect the back 2 and getting forward. Cian and John were solid at back and Tagh was impressive again in goal. Matt gave a solid midfield performance with some good tackles to send the ball forward.

Naas rang the changes showing great strenght in dept within this team. Padhraig and Jack were solid again at the back. Ollie, Jamie and Michael were constant threat in attack with Kiaon his usual play maker role within the team. Suncroft struck back with a goal againt the run of play. 2-1 Naas.

2nd Half - Suncroft starter brighter and scored an excellent equaliser from the left wing. 2-2. Naas however were not ready to throw in the towel and were excellent going from back to front. Matt was unlucky not too finish, Senan went close. John had a great shot that Daragh slotted home in front of keeper 3-2 Naas.

Suncroft pushed forward and got an equaliser. 3-3. Ollie, Jamie and Michael went close. Jack was unlucky at the end when he hit the post. The guys had to settle for a 3-3 result.

Really good performance from the whole squad who again showed strength in depth within this team. Every player gave it there all this evening against a competitive Suncroft team.
