A good game in the end and one that was a little closer than needed!
A lightning start with 2 goals from Freddie early on after great work Hugo and Miles for each of them. Freddie with a thunderous strike for his second
Ripon playing direct through balls effectively and caught us on the break with one before Themba made it 3-1 with a great individual run and finish.
Ripon again broke through to make it 3-2.
Second half we changed to a 3 at the back to negate their counter threat which worked a treat as we were rarely threatened in the second half.
Fletcher made is 4 with a fantastic left footed finish and Lennie finished the game off after Ripon scored a third from a corner where noone saw the sub coming in!
Having to win in different ways is the sign of a good side and we did that brilliantly.
