UFCA 2-7 Calcio

A very difficult game for the boys against a good side but also having to adjust to a small grass pitch.

It was a slow start to the game with both teams struggling to play out due to the pitch, the first goal game from a short corner which was curled into the far corner. UFCA didn’t let there head go down and after some fantastic pressing from Aiden he found himself with an equalizer . Calcio managed to regain the lead just before the end of the first quarter. Going into the second quarter Calcio really started to pile on the pressure and found goals in the second and third quarter to make it 5-1 going into the final quarter. UFCA battled to finish the game strongly put another corner was bundled in to make it 6. Teddy managed to pull one back after a great ball found Teddy one on one with the keeper. He kept his composure to take it round the keeper and finish of neatly. Finally Calcio added another goal just before the final whistle

Overall a very tough game and a major learning curve for the team.
