In testing conditions with heavy rain throughout, UFCA produced a composed and dominant performance to secure a 3–1 victory over Woodkirk.
UFCA struck first when Corben Peacock latched onto a perfectly weighted pass from Oscar Anderson, calmly slotting past the goalkeeper in a one-on-one to make it 1–0. Woodkirk responded, using the pace of their winger to break the defensive line, before their striker tapped in from close range to level the score.
Despite the setback, UFCA continued to dictate play. The pressure paid off when Kyran Davis unleashed a long-range strike that deflected beyond the keeper, restoring the lead at 2–1. The goal energised the side, and the best was yet to come.
With time ticking down, Naim Porst sealed the game in spectacular fashion – thundering an unstoppable strike from 35 yards into the top corner. A goal worthy of winning any match.
Overall, UFCA controlled possession, created the clearer chances, and fully deserved their victory. Against tricky conditions, the team’s work rate and quality shone through, securing a well-earned three points.
