Football Saturdays are back!!!

4-1 win thanks to goals from Lily (2), Libby and Harriet.

I can’t tell you how proud of the girls James and I were this morning. After nearly 4 months without a match, to put in a performance like that was incredible. Every single player was tremendous, working hard, listening well, battling against blisters (we’re going to have to restock the first aid kits 🤣🤣) and most impressively remembering what we’ve been working on in training and putting it into practice. Couldn’t be happier.

Opposition potm went to Aimee. She’ll have had busier days in goal but her decisiveness coming out and mopping up countless through balls was vital. Well done Aimee.

Coaches potm was Tiana. As well as doing all her usual solid defending, we saw some real leadership from T today, taking charge of the defence, positioning them where she needed them and talking throughout. Well done T.
