U10 Blacks v Soccer Hub

The boys made a positive start in the first period, creating lots of scoring opportunities and pressing with real intensity. There were several passages of play, both with and without the ball, that were exactly what we want from a UFCA team. With the ball there was spells in which the boys dominated and cut through the opposition with fast combinations and positive individual actions. Without the ball, they set traps and pressed really well to stop the opposition from playing out.

After the first period, the boys struggled to cope with the oppositions direct approach and were caught out in transitional moments, we gave the ball away cheaply and then didn't react quickly enough recover it. Because of this the boys lost their way in the second period.

The boys responded in the final period of the game and showed some fight. Plenty to learn from!
