U12 Blacks 25/26 - Qualitas Sports Maroon

Thought the boys were superb today.

In possession, you could see they were trying to recognise when the switch was on, and out of possession I thought everyone worked hard, making it difficult for Qualitas to have any time on the ball.

Qualitas were no mugs. The keeper was their player of the match and they played with a lot of heart, never giving up.

The result boiled down to two things.

Two lapses in concentration gifted them their goals which they took well. And we must have had 20 shots / chances at least, we just couldn't find the back of the net. And as long as the scoreline remained low, Qualitas were always in with a shout. Sometimes that's how it goes, another day we're 4 or 5 up by half time, and out of sight.

Next week we're away in Sheffield, again 🤦🏻🤣
