UFCA u13 yellows 3-7 Pontefract

After a change of shape the boys started the game on the front foot, dominating the ball and looking solid in defense . Just after the 10th minute Jack broke the deadLock to put UFCA in-front. Just before the end of the first quarter Pontefract scored against the run of play.

Going into the second quarter UFCA didn’t let that goal affect them and continued on the front foot. After a few chances it was Alex to put UFCA infront again going into the half time break.

Right at the start of the third quarter Pontefract equalized once again before adding another three going into the final quarter.

UFCA found themselves with a challenge of winning the final quarter to try get something from the game. After relentless pressure Harrison finished fantastically to take the score to 5-3 with 10 minutes to go. With UFCA pushing for a fourth goal the opponents caught them on the break twice to take the score to 7-3

Overall a positive first half performance to build on in the coming weeks.
