Girls U12 Major (2013) - Rathangan FC

Naas gave a fighting, 60-minute performance away to a physically strong Rathangan side on Wednesday night.

The girls fell 2-0 behind early but rallied to pull one back through Aoife Flanagan.

More chances came Naas’ way, thanks to some excellent build-up play, between there and the half-time break but the equaliser wouldn’t come.

It was a similar story in the second-half with Naas putting some great team moves together but being denied by a last tackle or a save.

Rathangan had some very good players and they took their chances well in the second-half
